QSO Volunteer Dinner, Winter 2008
Queens Symphony Orchestra is lucky to have wonderful volunteers that regularly help the staff by ushering at concerts, fundraising, sending out mailings, assisting at the office and, of course, socializing at the QSO Volunteer dinners! We always make our work fun and have friendly, positive volunteer members in our club for you to meet and work with. We have a warm, upbeat staff and our office is located quite centrally in Glendale, walking distance from the new Atlas shopping mall.
Our various concert programs include the Masterworks Concert Series at Queensborough Performing Arts Center, the free summer parks concerts at outdoor venues including St. John’s University and the Forest Park Bandshell, our Chamber Music Series at more intimate venues throughout the borough, our Young People’s Concerts at Kupferberg Center at Queens College, and our Young Soloist Competition at the Taiwan Center in Flushing this spring. We have so much to offer Queens, and our volunteers make a huge difference in spreading the word and making these events successful!
